About Us.

We support the full sustainability journey from baseline to strategy to operating model change to delivery. We do not see strategy as the final output. We see it as the point where practical change begins.

AfterUs combines strategic thinking with practical delivery design.

  • Where are we now? We help organisations build a clear and honest picture of their current position; including performance, risks, opportunities, capabilities, commitments, stakeholder expectations and ways of working.

  • Where do we need to go? We help organisations clarify priorities, make choices and define a realistic direction of travel.

  • What needs to be in place to get there? We help design the operating model needed to support delivery; including roles, responsibilities, governance, decision-making, processes, capabilities, partnerships, data, reporting and tools.

  • How do we make the change happen? We help turn plans into practical next steps, with clear ownership, sequencing, engagement and implementation support.

This means our work can start with a baseline, review or strategy – but it is always shaped by what it will take to deliver meaningful change.

Who’s Behind AfterUs.

AfterUs is led by Tristram Broady, who founded the firm in 2026 after eight years advising organisations - including utilities, universities, global technology distributors and a 21-organisation cultural consortium - on sustainability, climate and resilience strategy. He's a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS).

Why "AfterUs".

The name AfterUs reflects a simple but important idea: decisions made today shape the organisations, communities and systems that come after us.

It speaks to responsibility, legacy and practical stewardship. It is not about abstract future-gazing. It is about helping organisations make better decisions now, with a clear view of their long-term consequences.

We work with organisations that need to understand what needs to change, design how it should work, and make progress in a practical and coordinated way.
